Job Description

Dining Room Server (FT) - Island Residents OnlyCherish at Central Park is a seniors community that is dedicated to creating an environment that nurtures the human spirit and promotes independence, dignity, and quality of life. By working closely with our residents and introducing laughter to everyday life, we can, and do, improve their overall health. Values, honesty, and commitment guide our journey with our residents and employees. These values promote a positive, healthy environment, new friendships, and a true sense of well-being in our people.Responsibilities:

  • Our Servers are responsible for a variety of tasks, ultimately responsible for our residents #39; dining experience, with duties ranging from acting as hosts in the dining room, food service, and preparation.
  • We are looking for someone with a great work ethic, mature, responsible, and has a passion for working with seniors.
  • The ability to tell a good joke, participate in social events, and have musical talent would be beneficial.
Qualifications:
  • You will be serving in the Dining Room, Courtyard Lounge, and Jazz Bistro.
  • Experience in plated food service in a dining room setting.
  • Food Safe and Serving it Right certifications.
  • Currently living in the Greater Victoria area.
