We strive to offer a supportive, inclusive and nurturing environment that helps our employees expand their careers and reach their highest potential.Summary:We are currently looking for a professional with strong electrical and mechanical skills to join our Production Team as an RF Technician/ Assembler. Your duties will involve the manufacturing and testing of leading-edge satellite products for military, government, and high-end commercial applications.What You’ll Do:

  • Assemble, tune and test RF assemblies and subassemblies of a satellite terminal.
  • Work with production documentation, such as Bill of Materials (BOM’s), and CAD drawings.
  • Work with MMICs and other high frequency devices.
  • Work on mechanical, and or electrical assemblies and subassemblies of a satellite terminal.
  • Support production personnel in the building of PCBAs, mechanical and/or electrical subassemblies of satellite terminals.
  • Participate in delivering quality products on-time to our customers.
  • Maximize and maintain quality as per the latest production standard, test and BOM accuracy.
  • Assist in the transfer of designed products to manufacturing.
  • Execute unit-level and system-level tests.
  • Perform product verification testing of customer product before shipment.
  • Maintain departmental test equipment and environment.
  • Maintain records of solutions, setups, and results.
  • Improve production process through time and cost efficiencies.
  • Perform product verification testing of assemblies.
  • Other duties as assigned.
What You’ll Bring:
  • Diploma/Degree in Electronics/Electrical Technology Program
  • Minimum of 1 year experience with high frequency/RF testing
  • Knowledge in production documentation and mechanical and electrical assemblies
  • Knowledge in electrical components, ESD control
  • Knowledge in detailed assembly and integration procedures
  • Appreciation of production systems including MRP, ECOs, inventory transactions including cycle count to maintain accuracy
  • Experience in LabView Program would be an asset
  • Technical training in electronics or mechanics and computer applications would be an asset.
  • Knowledgeable and experienced with ISO 90001 manufacturing standards an asset
  • Willing to work in shifts, including weekends and be flexible with hours
