Securiguard is currently looking to expand our first-class Mobile Security team in the Victoria, BC area! The role of a Mobile Security Driver is varied and dynamic, with duties that include securing premises (gate locking and unlocking), conducting foot and vehicle patrols, respond to alarms and emergencies and remove unauthorized individuals from client properties. No day is the same in the life of a mobile security driver. This roles provides valuable experience to enhance your career in security or law enforcement. Our mobile officers respond to emergencies, regularly liaise with with police and emergency services during their shifts, conduct patrols, report writing and do rotational shift work. This provides a beneficial view of what the role of a police officer can entail.What you bring:

• Valid BC Security License (or ability to attain)
• Class 5 Drivers License with a Clean Drivers Abstract
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Previous security experience is an asset

Job Responsibilities:

• Report writing and acknowledging patrols by using our TrackTik software
• Providing emergency response to static sites and employees
• Completing securityamp; safety audits and reporting deficiencies to Operations Managers
• Responding to alarms and conducting foot patrols
• Staying grounded on sites when required
• Communicating directly with our Customer Communication Centre for dispatch instructions.
• Conduct property inspections
• Respond to complaints, emergencies, and other service calls
• Participate in onsite training to ensure familiarity with the different posts, positions and operations
• Show guards how to perform tasks or duties by familiarizing new employees with the work area and processes
• Remove vagrants from client properties and liaising with the police when required.
• Provide suggestions for development or improvement of all aspects of service delivery
• Any additional tasks prescribed by the Operations Manager
