Job Description

Our client is a trusted distributor of industrial equipment, looking to hire right away for a temporary position which could go permanent for the right fit. If you have experience in logistics, supply chain, or have worked at an order desk or similar, this is an excellent opportunity to build on your existing experience! Responsibilities include:

  • Create and maintain customer delivery reports.
  • Expedite orders once entered the system.
  • Keep clients informed of the status of their orders.
  • Ensure on-time delivery of items from vendors and notify clients of any delays.
  • Work with the Production team as well as Inside Sales to coordinate activities for each order.
  • Manage product delivery, communicate and document each stage with internal and external stakeholders.
Requirements include:
  • 2-3 years’ experience in a similar role is required.
  • Confident using Microsoft Office including Excel, Outlook, and Teams.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Highly organized and detail oriented.
  • Excellent team player who can work independently.
