Are you ready to join usMeet the teamOur Buildings team works closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure the Pembina Institute maximizes its impact in decarbonizing Canada’s buildings sector by monitoring emerging local and global economic and environmental trends and their implications.The opportunityWe’re looking for a Senior Analyst based ideally out of our offices in Edmonton or Calgary to join our Buildings team. *A candidate residing within commuting distance to the Institute’s other offices will be considered, with previous experience working with key Alberta stakeholders. We’ll lean on you to provide research, strategic advice, qualitative and quantitative analysis, writing, policy advocacy and fundraising support for the Buildings program at the Pembina Institute. What we’re looking forYou are results-oriented and self-motivated with a keen ability to understand buildings systems and their interaction with utilities. You pay attention to detail and accuracy and have a strong ability to conduct research of quantitative and qualitative data, particularly in building energy systems and decarbonization. You have excellent written, oral and interpersonal skills, and demonstrated success communicating with policy makers and executives. You are able to understand engineering processes relevant to energy systems, as well as emissions sources and climate-related technologies. Your project management skills and proficiency with data management software tools are strong, as is your commitment to sustainability and social change.Your key responsibilities
