This position is in Cargill’s agricultural supply chain business, where we seamlessly connect farming customers with food, feed and industry.Job Purpose and ImpactThe Crop Sales Representative will participate in face-to-face and remote selling to our new and existing customers, selling directly or indirectly through various sales channels. We seek a results-oriented professional who will help assess customer needs and suggest appropriate products, services and solutions. Key AccountabilitiesDevelopment and delivery of sales proposals and conducting detailed presentations for effective product demonstration.Build a business plan for each account developing strong client relationships.Plan daily activities, including customer visits and establish quantitative and qualitative objectives to achieve.Follow market and competition evolution, relaying information to senior staff.Independently solve moderately complex issues with minimal supervision, while escalating more complex issues to appropriate staff.Other duties as assigned QualificationsMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONSDiploma or Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experienceMinimum of two years of experience in the Canadian grain industry, agricultural production or farm managementPossess a valid Canadian Drivers Licence in good standingMust be legally entitled to work for Cargill in CanadaPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONSKnowledge of grain and crop input operations and productsCCA certification or ability to gain oneExperience using customer relationship management softwareCargill is an equal opportunity employer and committed to providing accommodation to our job applicants with disabilities.Quick Apply
