Job Description

Cornerstone Co-op is hiring two part-time Customer Service Clerks at our Home & Agro Centre in Wainwright, Alberta. The Customer Service Clerks will provide positive customer service experiences and assist with the transition to our brand-new store location coming in the Winter of 2022.What you’ll do:

  • Engage and interact with member-owners and customers to provide outstanding Co-op experiences
  • Ordering, receiving, warehousing, inventory control and stocking of product daily
  • Operate till (Point of Sale System), processing customer transactions
  • Follow proper maintenance and housekeeping duties
  • Able to work a variety of shifts – including days, evenings, weekends, and statutory holidays on a rotational basis
  • Demonstrate day-to-day behaviours and actions that align with and strengthen the Co-operatives vision, mission, values, brand and focus on safety
  • Perform other duties as assigned

  • You have a grade 12 or combination of relevant experience; previous retail experience would be an asset
  • You’re able to lift 50lb on a regular basis
  • You’re action oriented, customer focused and work well with other Team Members

  • You believe in building relationships and collaborating to deliver solutions that matter most, and you recognize the value that different perspectives bring to meet shared objectives
