Job Description

Cornerstone Co-op invites applications for the position of Gas Bar Attendant to join our gas bar team on a part-time basis at our location in Wainwright, AB. Reporting to the Gas Bar Manager. We are looking for a candidate that is able to work evenings and some weekends.What youll do:

  • Engage and interact with member-owners and customers to provide outstanding Co-op experiences
  • Provide outstanding guest service including pump island service and propane fueling
  • Maintain the cleanliness at pump islands and store front areas
  • Follow all regulations around distribution and selling of lotto and tobacco.
  • Perform general housekeeping duties, ordering & receiving of merchandise, stocking shelves, operating till systems, shoveling snow, and spreading salt/sand
  • Able to work a variety of shifts – including days, evenings, weekends, and statutory holidays on a rotational basis
  • Demonstrate day-to-day behaviours and actions that align with and strengthen the Co- operatives vision, mission, values, brand and focus on safety

  • We are friendly by greeting customers with a smile when they enter the property and by offering assistance to ensure they get what they need.
Who you are:
  • You have a grade 12 or combination of relevant experience; previous retail experience would be an asset
  • You’re honest and trustworthy, are results-oriented and strive to be the best in what you do
  • You believe in building relationships and collaborating to deliver solutions that matter most, and you recognize the value that different perspectives bring to meet shared objectives
  • You are willing to obtain a propane dispensing certification
