Job Description

Cornerstone Co-op invites applications for the position of Gas Bar Attendant to join our Gas Bar teamon a part-time basis at our location in Wainwright, AB. Reporting to the Gas Bar Manager. The hours available will be 12-15 hours per week and may suitable to a student candidate; however, we welcome all candidates to apply. Previous relevant experience is welcome; however, we will provide training to the successful candidate.What you will do:

  • Engage and interact with member-owners and customers to provide outstanding Co-op experiences.
  • Operate till (Point of Sale System), processing customer transactions
  • Provide outstanding guest service including pump island service and propane fueling.
  • Maintain the cleanliness at pump islands and store front areas.
  • Follow all regulations around distribution and selling of lotto and tobacco.
  • Perform general housekeeping duties, ordering of merchandise, receiving of merchandise and stocking shelves.
  • Adhere to both Cornerstone Coop standards
  • To be familiar with and follow all safe food handling practices.
  • Able to work a variety of shifts – including days, evenings until 10:15 pm, weekends until 10:15 pm, and statutory holidays on a rotational basis.
  • Demonstrate day-to-day behaviours and actions that align with and strengthen the Co-operatives vision,mission, values, brand and focus on safety.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
