Job Description

Cornerstone Co-op invites applications for Yard Attendants at the Wainwright Home & Agro Centre. We are looking for full-time and part-time Yard Attendants. The Yard Attendants will maintain a clear and safe workspace for employees and customers. At the direction of the Lumber Manager, Yard Attendants will help with moving, loading and cleaning. Coming in the Winter of 2022, this position will be located at our brand new Home & Agro Centre in Wainwright.What you’ll do:

  • The focus of this position will be working in the yard at the Home Centre serving customers and assisting with all aspects of the yard duties
  • Engage and interact with member-owners and customers to provide outstanding Co-op experiences
  • Receiving of products in the yard and in the store - including completing required paperwork
  • Follow proper maintenance and housekeeping duties
  • Able to work a variety of shifts – including days, evenings, weekends, and statutory holidays on a rotational basis
  • Demonstrate day-to-day behaviours and actions that align with and strengthen the Co-operatives vision, mission, values, brand and focus on safety
  • Perform other duties as assigned
