Job Description

General Description: As the Pontoon captain at Fox Harb’r Resort, you will meet and interact with guests and members from around the world while helping them create personalized luxury experiences and exceeding their expectations.Responsibilities:1.Guide individuals or groups on 2-hour kayaking tours2. Assist with sport shooting, fishing, hiking, pontoon boat tours and all other activities3. Be highly knowledgeable about the Resort’s activities4. Assist with sending out email blasts to our Membership database notifying our members of any upcoming events, answering any inquiries, and/or handling registrations for these events.5. Confirm, modify and cancel all guest reservations which include, but are not limited to: sport shooting, trail rides, kayaking, boat cruises etc6. Coordinate Activity Guides as needed7. Promote teamwork and quality service through daily communications and coordination with other departments8. Must have the ability to perform other administrative tasks or projects as assigned by ManagerAt Fox Harb’r Resort, we know every employee is a valued part of the team. Our benefits include:

REQUIREMENTS
  • Minimum 2 years relevant experience
  • Small water craft operator’s license
  • Knowledge of local water
  • Knowledge of marine life and birds
  • Valid Nova Scotia driver’s license
  • Strong computer knowledge with a proficiency in Microsoft Office and previous Property Management System experience an asset
  • Must possess a professional presentation and positive outgoing personality
  • Must possess strong verbal and written communication skills to partner with other departments and interact with guests and members in a courteous and professional service manner
  • Ability to take initiative, ensuring follow through, and effectively adapting to changes
  • Enjoy working outdoors
