About the RoleWe’re looking for a Controller to own the Finance function at Aterlo Networks. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who is proficient in all finance systems. As a Controller you will support the strategic direction of the company and drive our revenue planning and forecasting. Reporting to the CEO, this role will work directly with the leadership team to make timely, data-driven decisions about operational plans and growth initiatives.Responsibilities

• Provide guidance in the continuous evaluation of short and long term financial objectives, offer recommendations to enhance financial performance and business opportunities.
• Strengthen the financial well-being of Aterlo Networks by documenting systems that capture and build upon knowledge and follow good governance practices
• Continuously monitor, implement, and revise tools, models, and systems to improve the finance function
• Oversee the development and maintenance of all necessary accounting policies, internal controls and accounting systems, including general ledger, A/R, A/P and financial monthly and annual reporting. Ensuring that records are maintained in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles. Exposure to US and International Sales Taxation compliance measure is an added bonus.
• Own and manage the timely delivery of financial statements, tax compliance and budget/forecasts
• Oversee all aspects of cash management and present financial results with respect to trends, profits, costs and alignment with budgets
• Own reporting and analysis of Saas metrics, bookkeeping, payroll, A/R and A/P activities.

Requirements

• 5+ years in progressively responsible financial roles. Willing to consider someone looking for that next step within their career.
• BA in Accounting or Finance; CPA (CMA, CGA, CA) designation required.
• Strong interpersonal skills, and ability to communicate and manage well at all levels of the organization as well as 3rd party vendors and customers.
• Strong problem-solving and creative skills and the ability to exercise sound judgment and make decisions based on accurate and timely analyses. Experience working within QBO and Excel is desirable.
• High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results orientation. Offering work/life balance, continuous learning opportunities and stability. • Work with senior management on ad hoc projects as required.
