Job Description

Subsidiary: Miller Paving LimitedLocation: Waterloo, ONSummaryTri City Materials, a division of The Miller Group. Based out of Kitchener, Waterloo, Cambridge, and surrounding areas. Tri City Materials provides the public and private sectors with road construction, paving, road and structure rehabilitation, engineering construction, aggregate-based materials, highway operations, and maintenance services.As a Crusher Operator, You Will:

  • Safely and efficiently service and operate crushing equipment
  • Perform routine maintenance of machinery (some mechanical experience preferred)
  • Promote safety awareness; follow company policies & procedures, health, safety, and environmental
  • Act in accordance with OH&S Legislation & Practices
  • Perform general labor duties, such as shoveling in and around the belts and crusher
  • Travel with the portable crusher to assigned work locations
What Youll Bring:
  • Previous crushing experience considered an asset
  • Must have a valid G driver’s license
  • Mechanically inclined, perform routine maintenance on equipment
  • Effective communication skills and be a team player
  • Flexibility to work overtime and weekends when required
  • Capable of working independently when needed
  • Promoting a positive and safe work environment in a physically demanding and fast paced work environment
  • Ability to lift 50lbs or more
  • Willingness to work in extreme weather conditions
