Join Equitable Life today.Position Title: Individual Production Support AdministratorReports To: Director, Individual Projects and TrainingDepartment: IndividualTerm: Temporary Full-Time – 1 Year ContractWork Arrangements: We are currently working remotely, and we will be moving to a hybrid model when our office renovation is complete (approximately September 2023), coming into the office a minimum of 2 days per week, every other week on designated days.The Opportunity: The Individual Production Support Analyst role supports the operational areas by ensuring timely and efficient handling of Individual Division systemerrors and messages from reports, which are the result of activity within theIndividual operations teams. This role performs frequent, regular audits withinthe Individual Division to ensure accurate and timely processing is maintainedand works closely with IT, supporting changes and enhancements to systemfunctionality and problem resolution.This role is an amazing entry-level opportunity for anyone wishing toexplore business processes and analysis.   • Review and investigate system and error related messages and reports quickly, to limit the impact on productivity and service standards across the Division
  • Assess the magnitude and implications of identified issues to determine and or recommend the best approach to resolution
  • Act as a resource to Operations Staff across the Division, providing them with required process and system constraint expertise in order to provide and maintain superior service
  • Communicate directly with internal clients as required to provide further depth in the handling of problem resolutions
  • Ensure ongoing timely procedural updates
  • Ensure key and/or repeated issues are brought to Management’s attention
  • Audit Individual Operations processes and report findings to management
  • Ensure Service Standards/Deadlines are met, while maintaining a high quality of work
  • Participate in projects and related clean-ups as required
What you will bring:
  • Superior communication skills, both written and verbal, high degree of written communication required
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, while making appropriate recommendations
  • Excellent time management and planning skills
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize in a fast paced and demanding environment
  • Adaptable to changing priorities, requiring minimal management direction
  • MS office proficiency
  • Individual Operations experience (Ingenium, VAX, FASAT, PeopleSoft, UnderwritingPro) is preferred
  • Knowledge of past and current Life insurance products and contracts preferred
  • Knowledge of insurance taxation regulations, legislative and CLHIA guidelines, money laundering, privacy and complaint handling procedures preferred
  • Strong knowledge of processes, procedures and workflows within Individual Operations preferred
  • FLMI, ACS designations preferred
