Everywhere.’Are you the person we are looking forThe role is accountable for supporting the Corporate Communications team by conducting research reporters and media outlets, building media lists, editorial and speaking/award calendars, developing materials for press outreach, monitoring media coverage, developing and drafting social media ideas and stories. This role will report to the VP, Communications.RESPONSIBILITIESIn the role of Corporate Communications Associate, you will:Research reporters and media outletsBuild media lists, editorial, and speaking/award calendarsDevelop materials for press outreach, including media pitches, press releases, contributed article and blog postsAssist teams with media pitching/outreachMonitor media coverage for news of importance, relevant industry trends, and competitorsDevelop story ideas and contribute to development of plansDraft social media posts and monitor social channelsUnderstand and use social and digital listening toolsPerform research to gather competitive intelligence and develop insightsHelp assemble briefing materialsHelp prepare weekly and monthly reportsAssist with internal communications / content developmentPerform ad hoc admin tasks as assignedAttend internal PR/marketing meetings and partner PR callsShadow cross function teams (IR, legal, AR, sales, product, creative, etc.)SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONSUndergraduate degree in communications, marketing, journalism, or recent new college graduate with the same course of studyCompletion of 1-2 corporate PR/Comms or PR agency internshipsStrong communications and critical-thinking skillsExcellent research, writing and organizational skillsAbility to work independently and collaboratively with teams across time zonesAbility to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environmentStrong attention to detailA positive attitude and intellectual curiosityProficient in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and ExcelADDITIONAL ASSETSKnowledgeable and/or interest in security, enterprise technology, cybersecurity.#LI-ST1Job Family Group Name:Marketing & CommunicationsScheduled Weekly Hours:40
