The Customer Experience Representative must possess excellent customer service skills and be alert to all our customer needs and provide service in a friendly, informative and professional manner. The performance of the duties must ensure a quality service approach to all customers, employees and suppliers. All responsibilities must be performed in a manner consistent with the Farm Boy Way.Major Responsibilities:

  • Provide a prompt and warm reception to all customers, while providing other measures of outstanding customer service and maintaining courtesy and professionalism.
  • Maintaining the store capacity at all times and ensure a safe working area for all colleagues and customers entering the store.
  • Conduct health screening at the front door, as required.
  • Cleaning/sanitizing carts before and after customer use.
  • Utilizing Farm Boy Service Standards, welcome, greet and offer customer assistance as required.
  • Keep the work, storage and store areas clean and safe at all times by performing general “housekeeping” as required, including sweeping, mopping and dusting.
  • May be requested to undertake other related duties on a periodic basis.
Qualifications
  • Superior customer service, experience in a retail environment or an equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered an asset.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a positive and team-oriented attitude.
  • Must be able to work a flexible schedule including opening, closing, weekends and holidays.
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must be able to work with minimal supervision and have a strong initiative.
  • You must be able to perform efficiently during high volume peak periods.
  • Fluency in English and French shall be considered an asset.
Work & Sensory Environment:
  • Required to stand for long periods of time during shift.
  • Required to lift, carry or handle heavy objects.
  • Required to adapt to temperature changes on occasion (working on the retail floor as well as at the front doors).
