Discover how you can make a difference in the lives of individuals, families and communities around the world.*** Please note this is a 12-month contract ***The Digital Mail Services Administrator works on a team to ensure effective digital imaging, accurate data-entry, and precision routing of sensitive documents. The successful candidate will be responsible for learning and applying our processes and upholding our standards in a fast-paced onsite production environment. Regular work hours are 3:30PM-11:30PM, Monday through Friday.What will you do

  • Digitizing documents using commercial scanning machines
  • Importing and organizing digital files, keying data on scanned documents, and routing them to our internal partners
  • Participating actively in regular meetings, projects, professional development, and coursework
  • Ensuring that each document is handled with care and diligence
  • Learning our processes and policies quickly and effectively
  • Meeting our performance standards within an established time frame
What you need to succeed
  • Physically capable of performing repetitive motions, operating scanners and computers at a fast pace every day
  • Experience with reading, learning and applying structured processes
  • Ability to work independently with minimal direction and frequent interruptions
  • Communication skills, attention to detail and ability to maintain a high level of productivity
What is nice to have
  • Experience using Microsoft Office software, Windows, Outlook, SharePoint, OneDrive, OneNote and Excel
  • Experience doing repetitive work for extended periods
  • Experience meeting/exceeding performance expectations in production environments
Notes/Unique Requirements:
  • Digital Mail Services operates Monday through Friday, 3:30 PM–11:30 PM
  • This role involves physical tasks which are of a repetitive nature
  • Successful completion of RCMP criminal background check is required
  • Successful obtainment of Government Reliability Status (two valid photo ID’s, and digital fingerprinting) is required

The Base Pay range is for the primary location for which the job is posted. It may vary depending on the work location of the successful candidate or other factors. In addition to Base Pay, eligible Sun Life employees participate in various incentive plans, payment under which is discretionary and subject to individual and company performance.
