Job Description

KW Escape is a small business in Waterloo, ON. We are social and fast-paced, and our goal is to provide a fun experience for all!Our work environment includes:

As a Game Master, the successful outgoing, cheerful, friendly candidate will perform the following duties:-greet and cheerfully interact with customers upon arrival-excitedly bring customers to their escape room and provide game specific information before they begin playing (be outgoing!)-monitor groups of players, track their progress in the games, and provide accurate and upbeat hints via phone when needed (in a cheerful, outgoing manner!)-congratulate teams when they escape or explain how the game ends to groups who do not escape in time (get excited! be loud! be happy!)-continue cheerful interaction with customers as they leave, possibly speaking with them about our selection of board games for purchase-reset escape rooms accurately (e.g., place all items in their spots, lock all physical locks and magnetic locks, clean high touch surfaces)-perform small repairs or report broken or worn items to managerIn addition to interacting in a cheerful, upbeat manner with customers, the successful candidate will be required to work efficiently independently as well as on a team.Job Types: Part-time, PermanentSalary: From $15.50 per hourSchedule:
  • 4 hour shift
  • 8 hour shift
  • Evenings
  • Every Weekend
  • Monday to Friday
  • Weekend availability
