For more information, visit carta.com.The Team You’ll Work WithThis role is on the Legal Ops team within Legal and Compliance. You will be working with the team taking on:

  • managing the company’s corporate records and governance documents,
  • project management,
  • process documentation and training materials, and
  • contract review under guidance, process management and prioritization.
We often have to work within time constraints, so your experience working in a fast-paced legal or in-house legal business environment will be an asset.We are a small but mighty team and use our combined talents to support our attorneys, compliance professionals, in addition to our business counterparts. We drive our team to adopt technology to enhance their agility in keeping up with the business.The Problems You’ll SolveOur Legal Ops team is growing to match pace with our attorneys and the bold and lofty goals of various areas of our business. As part of our team, you will:
  • Collaborate with the in-house legal team to assist in addressing legal issues
  • Assist in-house legal team with corporate governance including organizing corporate minute books and similar corporate items including mergers and acquisitions
  • Assist in-house legal team with intellectual property matters including managing trademark and patent portfolios
  • Assist in-house legal team with sales contract review, process and prioritization utilizing
  • Administrative duties including data entry into team’s matter management software and CLM
  • Manage and assist with special projects, as needed.
About YouYou will use your paralegal skills and experience in corporate governance, regulatory and contract matter management to complement our attorneys. Your SaaS sales and vendor contract experience will supplement our growing legal team. You can keep cool under pressure when dealing with internal and external clients and regulators. You have a professional approach to problem solving. You also possess strong communication and project management skills that will keep us on pace with shifting priorities. Your office administration experience will be an asset. As a bonus, you will have a working knowledge of specific rules and regulations pertaining to the brokerage and banking industries. That may include experience with regulatory examinations and internal investigations.
