Job Description

The OpportunityReporting to the Project Co-ordinator, the PDI Touring Agent is responsible for the Pre-Delivery Inspections (PDI) of newly constructed condominium suites within a luxury residential building in Waterloo, ON. The ideal candidate is part of a team that collectively performs PDI assessments and inspections of finishes, achieving excellent outcomes and purchaser satisfaction by ensuring quality control of in suite construction. Successful candidates will be able to work independently and stay professional.The CompanyRise Real Estate Ltd. is a construction and project management company providing a project’s owner with effective management of the projects schedule, cost, quality, safety, scope, and function. Based out of Burlington, ON, Rise is committed to providing comprehensive and exceptional service to both a project’s owner and homeowners across Southern Ontario.Essential FunctionsPre-Delivery Inspection

  • Perform pre-delivery home orientations with purchasers and explain the different functions and features within their condominium unit, including the electrical and mechanical systems
  • Carry out thorough closing inspections of suites prior to possession by homeowners
  • Note any items that are damaged, incomplete, missing or not operating properly based on the homeowners findings
  • Adhere to safety standards across all projects on active construction sites and in the post-occupancy phases of a building
  • Ensure deficiency list is within the Tarion construction guidelines
Position Details
  • 6-week contract position
  • Work 24-40 hours per week, inclusive of Saturday and Sunday
  • Ability to safely lift up to 25 lbs. is required
Who You AreExperience - 3-5 years experience in a customer service role, preferably in home construction service industryTechnical - Knowledge of the construction process and Tarion (new home warranty act)Professionalism – Maintain a presentable appearance at all times and have a positive attitudeOrganizational – Ability to work independently, with little supervision; prioritize and multi-task to meet time sensitive deadlinesCommunication – Proficient in the English language, both verbal and writtenFlexibility – Willing to work outside of core hours when business needs dictateLicense - Must have a valid Ontario driver’s licence; own vehicle is an assetCell - Reliable cell phone in order to complete Tarion forms digitallyCompensation
  • $25.00 per hour
  • Paid training
  • Re-imbursement of cell phone data usage, to a maximum of $50.00 per month
