Be part of a winning team that leads the way in Enterprise Information Management.The Opportunity:OpenText Business Network Engineering is strengthening its global Cloud Service Delivery team, and we are currently looking for an experienced Principle System Administrator/Engineer to work with system team as well as engage hands-on in complex problem solving with global application engineering team.In this demanding role, you will report directly to the Sr. Director, Enterprise Business System. It is a position that is highly focused in reviewing, standardizing, automation and capacity planning of System and Container technologies to support OpenText’s mission critical cloud applications and services. This role is seen as SME of system technologies within the group and will be the person to help setting the overall planning, configuring and collecting capacity related matrix, document and preparing report and dashboard for management team and technical team. This position requires a strong understanding of system architecture, database architecture, automation, change management, incident management, backup, disaster and recovery, security and compliance. This role also requires assisting necessary maintenance tasks like patch/upgrades, provide on-call and technical support, troubleshooting of system related issues, disaster recovery and security compliance related activities.What is a business networkA business network is a cloud platform that connects and manages all data, within the enterprise and outside the firewall. ResponsibilitiesWhat you will be doing:

• Work with other system administrators as needed for maintenance tasks like automation, documenting standard procedures, security patch/upgrades, on-call and technical support, troubleshooting of system related issues, disaster recovery and security compliance related activities.
• Work with capacity engineer to setup, gather and evaluate performance data with different monitoring tools such as Zabbix, New Relic
• Work with capacity engineer to analyze the data, spot the trend, make the forecast
• Prepare dashboard and report at regular basis for management and technical team to review.
• Research and provide improvement recommendation to management and technical teams including related costs, impact analysis, expected timescale, and affected resources.

You are great at:

• Experience in Google Cloud Platform/GCP certification is required.
• 6+ years of strong system and infrastructure related hands-on administrator experience, performance monitoring and tuning in Unix and Window server environments.
• Linux certified is a plus
• Experience in automation tool such as Ansible and shell scripting.
• Experience in monitoring tools such as Zabbix and NewRelic.
• BS or MS degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineer
• Experience with preparing dashboards for Performance / Capacity Management.
• Experience in agile and scrum methodologies and related tools such as Jira and Confluence
• Experience with other database technologies such as MS SQL, Oracle, Cassandra, MapR, Elastics Search, etc. is a plus

• Programming languages: JAVA, Python and Unix shell scripting.
• Database technologies: MSSQL, Oracle, Cassandra, PostgreSQL, Arango DB, Elastic Search, MapR, Kafka
• CI / CD environment with tools such as Jenkins.
• Configuration management and automation: such as Gitlab, Ansible, Rundeck.
• Monitoring Tools: Zabbix, New Relic
• Security Tools: Sentinel One, LogRhythm
