It’s the defining attribute that we look for in our people.What do you need to succeedTitle - Procurement SpecialistLocation - Waterloo, ONRole OverviewAR Data & Logistics team is supporting user experience, engineering and software development teams to manage new products and programs. Each of these teams require items such as materials, parts, tools and equipment to perform their responsibilities. These items can be sourced from a variety of suppliers and partners in various countries, and the vast majority are from international locations.Responsibilities:

  • Create and maintain complete and accurate lists of part numbers that can be used for
  • reference across organization
  • Maintain complete and accurate set of supporting documentation for the part numbers, such as (not exhaustive):
  • 3rd party documentation supporting Country Of Origin (COO)
  • 3rd party documentation supporting part valuation
  • Battery - MSDS, UN 38.3 Test report and UL Certificate of Compliance
  • FDA registration numbers for vendors supplying FDA controlled materials
  • Inventory record keeping of items purchased and available for use in the design activity
  • Communicating with vendors to complete the vendor setup
  • Maintaining a list of vendors that are setup and available for use
  • Entering purchase requisitions into software
  • Support communicating PO to vendors where required
  • Support vendor invoice upload process where required
  • Supporting the purchase and replenishment of consumable items where applicable
  • Working with other internal teams such as Trade Compliance to resolve customs issues
  • Brainstorming and implementing process improvements
  • Support Logistics as needed.
Qualifications:
  • Strong spreadsheet skills, able to quickly churn out summaries showing statuses of devices using pivot table
  • Self-starter, able to work independently with little supervision
  • Past working experience in procurement preferred
  • Past experience in inventory management preferred
