Discover how you can make a difference in the lives of individuals, families and communities around the world.As a member of the Business Management team, the Project Information Analyst provides reporting and data analysis and supports key tools that are vital to the creation of reports. The successful candidate will work closely with the team to compile and analyze operational transactional data and will help build a data repository to store and access the data.The Project Information Analyst coordinates efforts to collect data and works with some very large data sets to tell a story, provide proof, or identify trends through visualization. Sources of data are IT usage trends such as project actuals, hardware and mainframe usage, service requests, operational transactions and many other sources of data. This role provides the successful candidate with the opportunity to exercise and develop technical, analytical, and relationship management skills.If you love to create insightful reporting through solid analysis of financial and operational information, have advanced knowledge of Excel with a keen interest in numbers and data visualization, and are seeking opportunities to contribute and grow in a dynamic environment, we’d like to hear from you.   • Develop, maintain and leverage dashboards and models to analyze trend-based data, identify and communicate performance and results
  • Create dashboards and reports that bring insights into trends and assist with variance analyses
  • Support organizational reporting, including coordination, data collection, and analysis
  • In collaboration with our partners, identify report requirements, design the solution, and deliver the expected results.
  • Work to ensure effective information management processes are in place
  • Perform ad hoc analysis to identify trends, prove theories, assess effectiveness, etc.
  • Support consistent and effective use of the time tracking tool (Changepoint) set-up and reporting
  • Train, delegate, mentor and assist with task assignments to off-shore resources.
  • Proactively identify opportunities for process improvements and drive solutions
  • Take ownership of small initiatives and engage the appropriate resources to reach solution.
What do you need to succeed
  • University or other Post-Secondary education in a relevant field (Accounting, Finance or Mathematics)
  • Analytical and problem solving skills with keen attention to detail and ability to consistently produce high-quality deliverables
  • Advanced expertise with MS Excel is required-especially use of Pivot Tables and advanced formulas using large data sets
  • Initiative and creativity - ability to influence and interpret requests which are not always clearly defined
  • Ability to work independently, with minimal direction and proven ability to successfully navigate multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously
  • Good judgement in knowing when to escalate issues and proactively seek direction as needed to manage competing priorities and peak workload situations
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Experience with Tableau or other data visualization tools preferred
