To learn more, visit us at: https://www.slcmanagement.com/invReporting to the Associate Director, Finance, the SLC Accounting and Reporting Co-op will have the opportunity to provide support to the SLC Management Finance team and gain exposure to a wide rage of finance functions, including accounting, reporting and internal controls.What will you do

  • Support and coordinate the monthly account reconciliations process
  • Assist in various month-end / quarter-end close activities for the SLC businesses
  • Assist in completing the control checks process for the quarterly management reporting
  • Assist in the evidence gathering for the quarterly audit process
  • Support complete, accurate, and timely consolidated financial reporting processes under IFRS
  • Assist in process documentations and process improvements
  • Provide support on an ad-hoc basis as projects arise
What do you need to succeed
  • Currently enrolled in an Accounting program or equivalent from an accredited University; previous co-op work experience is an asset
  • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office (primarily Excel and PowerPoint)
  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication, organizational and interpersonal skills
  • Self-motivated and adaptable
  • Strong time management skills and ability to manage conflicting priorities independently

The Base Pay range is for the primary location for which the job is posted for.
