To learn more, visit us at: https://www.slcmanagement.com/invReporting to the Senior Director, Private Fixed Income Operations, The Specialist, Private Operations Co-op is part of a team that is responsible for the administration and support of the North American mortgage and private fixed income portfolio. Specifically, this role will be in responsible for completing various deliverables from record management, reconciliations or onboarding activities for Private Fixed Income loans, leases, and Mortgages.What will you do

  • Process asset transfers in the various source systems moving loans from one segment to another as laid out by Asset Liability Management
  • Ensure that the transfers are completed accurately and are reflected correctly in the source system
  • Run reports before and after the transfers each day to demonstrate the transfers completed
  • Support other admin functions as needed and priorities shift
What do you need to succeed
  • Currently enrolled in an Accounting, Business or Engineering program from an accredited University; previous co-op work experience is an asset
  • Intermediate proficiency with Excel – ability to create, manipulate, and interpret data/spreadsheets and comfortable working with formulas, VLOOKUP’s, pivot tables, etc.
  • Meticulous attention to detail with an analytical approach and aptitude for working with numbers
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to assess situations through analysis and observation and develop supportable solutions
  • Technology savvy and able to learn and incorporate new tools or software for daily operational activities
  • Organizational skills and ability to prioritize in a dynamic, fast paced environment

The Base Pay range is for the primary location for which the job is posted for.
