Our team is currently looking for a:Talent and Organizational Development Program Manager (Hybrid work arrangement available)The Talent and Organizational Development Program Manager is responsible for designing, delivering, and continuously improving specific talent initiatives while ensuring they fit into the broader talent strategy. As a key member of the Human Resources Management Team, this individual is critical in the creation or enhancement of HR programs that positively impact the business and employee experience through effective change management, employee engagement, talent and performance management, succession planning, and leadership development.Job DescriptionWhat you will do:Talent and Performance Management:

  • Leads talent management initiatives including designing, delivering and continuously improving the overall approach in alignment with the overall talent strategy
  • In collaboration with the Senior Manager of Operations, Human Resources, sets the strategic direction of OTIP Group of Companies (OGC) performance management framework that drives a process of continuous feedback and communication between managers and their employees, to ensure the achievement of the strategic objectives of the organization.
Change Management:
  • Develops overall change management strategies and provides change management expertise when identifying and assessing change management initiatives.
  • Delivers and supports change activities to increase adoption, including building change management plans, change visioning session(s), stakeholder engagement plan/analysis, change communications, job/role impact assessments, and change readiness assessments.
  • In collaboration with the Senior Manager of Operations, Human Resources, facilitates enterprise-wide change and transition efforts in various parts of the organization to ensure identified goals are fully achieved.
Employee Engagement and Employee Experience:
  • Recommends overall employee engagement approach and objectives.
  • Supports HR Operations in execution of the engagement survey. Oversees employee surveys and feedback metrics to analyze trends, provide meaningful recommendations and develop related action plans to enhance the employee experience.
Succession Planning:
  • In collaboration with the Senior Manager of Operations, Human Resources, leads the succession planning process while supporting the execution to mitigate risk and provides input into overall talent strategies.
Learning and Development:
  • Develops the leadership development framework that builds capabilities across the organization.
  • Facilitates leadership development through program development, training, and coaching. This includes recommending participation in external training programs.
  • Works in partnership with the Learning and Member Advocacy department where applicable for digital e-learning creation and learning management system administration.
  • Leads the approach to facilitate career discussions with employees to support employee growth and development to achieve career aspiration.
Other:
  • Collaborates with the Human Resources Operations and Talent Acquisition teams to drive Human Resources strategic initiatives.
  • Aligns Human Resources Programs with Employee Value Proposition.
  • Investigates employer recognition awards and provides content and input into all submissions, in partnership with Communications and Corporate Affairs.
  • Assists in creating the annual financial budget relating to HR programs.
QualificationsWhat you will bring:
  • A minimum of five years’ experience in organizational development or talent management at the corporate level.
  • Strong knowledge of current organizational development theory, methodologies, and tools, including change management, systems thinking and team development.
  • Experience implementing Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Belonging initiatives and best practices.
  • Exceptional communication skills and interpersonal skills and the demonstrated ability to deal effectively with all levels of internal and external stakeholders.
  • Experience working with relevant employment legislation across Canada, such as the Employment Standards Act and Human Rights Code.
  • Excellent influencing skills, relationship building, business acumen and client focus.
  • Organizational savvy, adaptability, flexibility, and ability to deal with ambiguity.
  • Demonstrated coaching, consulting, and facilitation skills.
  • Sound analytical, problem solving and negotiation skills with an ability to understand broad Human Resources issues and opportunities.
  • The ability to communicate in French is considered an asset.
