Be part of a winning team that leads the way in Enterprise Information Management.The Opportunity:The team is growing and has a need for a hands-on Technical Product Owner to work with engineering and business owner stakeholders to define the technical roadmap, scope and implement projects, and analyze requirements. Potential candidates have a solid background in systems andministration, software development lifecycle, business analysis and service management. The team is global and very collaborative. We are a fast-paced organization and there are numerous projects in progress at any one time.The Technical Product Owner will also be involved in the program management type-tasks of the OT Trusts OT program - a program which entails using OpenText products internally to support users needs.You Are Great At:Software development lifecycle: working with end users to understand the business need; translating business problems to technical requirements.Requirements analysis and design documentation, build and test, User Acceptance testing. Documenting the solution.Business analysis: working with end users to document their business requirements and translate those into functional requirements and system designProduct management: defining technical roadmap and the required product features to support that roadmapTaking ownership of the backlog and prioritizing features, and bugs.Familiarity with a wide-breadth of technologies; web-based applications, the difference between on premise and Cloud softwareService management to enable the team to provide excellent operational support to end users and IT colleagues. Familiarity with ITIL methodologies.Maintaining systems as required; patching, upgrading, monitoring and troubleshooting are regular activities during business hours, and sometimes outside of business hours to minimize service disruption.What It Takes:Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, business, finance or a related area of study or significant experience in a similar role.Minimum 8 years in system administration, technical support or related function supporting customers using OpenText Content Suite and related technologiesExperience with product ownership - backlog prioritization, proven demonstration of analytical thinking, consensus building, superior communication skillsBusiness analysis, project management, and software development lifecycle (SDLC). Familiarity with Waterfall and Agile methodologiesExperience with ITIL methodologies and best practices in change, incident and problem managementExperience with or willingness to develop and exercise skills in the areas of enterprise content management, web-based software applications, and application integration,Ability to work cross-functionally with IT infrastructure and database administrator teams on both project implementations and application supportKnowledge of Jira and ConfluenceExperience with OpenText Content Server, Extended ECM, and eDocsStrong knowledge of Cloud environments (Unix/Windows, Virtualization, Containers, Data Management, CI/CD Management)OpenTexts efforts to build an inclusive work environment go beyond simply complying with applicable laws.
