Job Description

Job DescriptionAs the Lead Mechanical Designer, you will play a pivotal role in our manufacturing operations, particularly in the transfer and optimization of industrial equipment from Germany following successful prototype testing. You will be responsible for overseeing the design process of mechanical equipment, collaborating closely with process engineering teams, and managing a team of mechanical designers.Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design and modeling of mechanical equipment, ensuring feasibility, efficiency, and adherence to project timelines.
  • Conduct simulations, prototyping, and testing to optimize equipment performance and functionality.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including electrical, automation, and robotics to integrate mechanical designs seamlessly into production processes.
  • Manage the entire project lifecycle, from conceptualization to implementation, ensuring quality assurance and adherence to industry standards.
  • Manage a team of mechanical designers, providing guidance, support, and technical expertise throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Provide expertise in large industrial machines, production lines, and tooling, with a focus on tire building machines.
  • Act as a liaison between physical machines and technical drawings, offering innovative solutions to optimize manufacturing processes.
