Job Description

Bookkeeper & Administrator Specialist(Part-time, Permanent)At BOSK International, we believe that our business has a positive social impact that contributes to a culture of sustainability. We operate a highly successful sales and marketing business in the lumber industry and are located in West Vancouver, BC.We understand that our clients need to have access to premium quality green building solutions and we bring supply chains together offering our products and services with superior quality at competitive prices. We export our products through carefully screened and selected suppliers from Canada, the USA, South America and Europe. Our team is highly skilled and experienced with the sales, trading and distribution of our products and services.We are seeking a talented individual with strong Bookkeeping and Administrative skills to join our team. Your excellent abilities in financial administration, office support and general organization will enable the management team to achieve it’s operational and financial objectives. The scope of this role includes, but is not limited to the following;RESPONSIBILITIES:· Bookkeeping and financial administration with a focus on Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and banking duties· Organize, register, scan and file invoices, receipts, cheques and other related documents· Review and record credit card purchases and source purchase receipts for completeness· Manage and record all expense reports with exceptional internal customer service skills· Prepare for review, all government related taxes and liabilities· Handle all administrative tasks for the management team, as required· Validate, record and make payments to vendors and suppliers· Ensure compliance with company policies while carrying out daily processes and controls accurately and on time.· Assist Controller with day-to-day monitoring of cash flows forecasts and support cash related activities· Assist with other financial reporting and accounting duties and/or projects as required· Provide exceptional communication support between management and all stakeholdersQUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting or related major is required
  • A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in a similar role
  • Strong bookkeeping knowledge and experience within a sales and marketing based business (preference give to candidates with international exposure)
· Excellent knowledge and proficiency with management of accounting systems (preference to those having experience using SAP Business One)· Strong MS Suite skills (Word, Excel, Teams) and comfortable in using video conferencing platforms· Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail and the ability to manage concurrent deliverables and work effectively in a challenging, high performance, team environment· Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills (written and oral); communicates in a clear, concise and organized manner; listens and works collaboratively with others outside of Accounting group· Demonstrated high level of integrity and ethics· Spanish speaking considered a Strong asset· Act in accordance with Company Policies and Procedures.The ideal candidate will be driven and committed to supporting the strategic growth of BOSK International Inc and will ensure they are well prepared for an ever-changing environment.
