Job Description

MARKETING & COMMUNICATIONS COORDINATOR - We offer an excellent benefit package, staff meal program and generous rewards and recognition programs!The Location: Hollyburn Country Club is located in West Vancouver at 950 Cross Creek Road. Our location is quite remote. The ideal candidate has their own transportation and lives on the North Shore, Downtown or in Burnaby. Please check our location prior to applying.Hollyburn Country Club is a premier private family Club that provides its Members with an exclusive hub for activity, sport, dining, entertainment, socialization and business.

The Position: This role is a full-time salaried role and it is on-site at the Club. The ideal candidate is a bold, creative leader who enjoys working with many different people and departments. The primary duties include creation and management of Member communications, internal marketing of Club events and programs and creating digital content to be used across marketing platforms.Responsibilities:
  • Market the Club’s athletic and social benefits to new and existing Members to increase Member engagement and membership sales using a variety of digital and in-print platforms
  • Write and edit internal Member communications, including proofreading the Club’s publication, the View
  • Work with all Club departments to help promote departmental initiatives
  • Assist Graphic Designer with collecting, organizing and proofing content for Club publication
  • Photography & videography of Club Members, activities, events, announcements
  • Manage Club social media platforms including blog writing, post creation and scheduling for social media

Requirements:
  • Post-secondary education in Marketing, Business, or a Communication related field
  • 3-5 years of experience in a Marketing or content generation role, private Club experience is an asset
  • Copywriting skills and examples of your written work
  • Computer proficiency in digital content creation products (Adobe Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, video & photo editing, etc.) with examples of your work
  • Experience using the Microsoft Office Suite of products including Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel
  • Own transportation is an asset due to the Club’s location
  • You agree to get a Police Information Check with a vulnerable sector search
