Job Description

Applicants should be familiar with the Social Studies curriculum at the junior high level and have a desire to work with junior high students with diverse backgrounds and levels of ability. Knowledge of best teaching practices is an asset. Ability to assist in the schools co-curricular and extra-curricular programs would be considered an asset. Possessing a certificate in Catholic Education from St. Josephs College is an asset.Wetaskiwin, a city of approximately 13,000 people is located 70 kilometers south of Edmonton.Wetaskiwins rich history is reflected in the restoration of many historic buildings in the Citys downtown core, and the city is home to the Reynolds-Alberta Museum. Wetaskiwin has a variety of cultural and recreational facilities making it a wonderful place to live.Sacred Heart School is blessed to be able to provide a Christ-centered, well-rounded, high quality education in Wetaskiwin and surrounding area.
