The counselor assists the camp leader in designing and implementing recreation activities within a planned curriculum. Supports for persons with disabilities in programs may be required to develop a specific program plan.Other responsibilities include: Daily duties such as greeting parents and participants, supporting activities, ensuring the safety and enjoyment of participants, organizing equipment and supplies, preparing for activities, assisting in the distribution and collecting permission slips for outings, assisting in organizing outings and special events, participating in staff meetings, assisting and supporting the instructor during literacy instruction.QUALIFICATIONSEducation and Experience
