Job Type: Full-timeAbout Us: At EAM-Mosca (Canada) Ltd., we specialize in custom, make-to-order (MTO) manufacturing of industrial strapping equipment, delivering high-quality solutions tailored to our customers #39; unique needs.Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled Production Technician (Mechanical) to join our dynamic team. Reporting directly to the Production Team Leader, this role is pivotal in ensuring the seamless assembly, testing, and preparation of our mechanical products for shipment. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical aptitude and relevant experience in a heavy manufacturing environment.Key Responsibilities:· Build mechanical subassemblies and final machine assemblies of strapping equipment according to specifications and production schedules.· Conduct thorough machine testing to ensure functionality and quality standards are met.· Prepare machines for shipment by performing final pack-up procedures, ensuring safe and efficient transport.· Collaborate with the Production Team Leader and other team members to troubleshoot and resolve assembly issues.· Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols and company policies.Qualifications:· High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification in a relevant field preferred.· Experience in a heavy industrial manufacturing environment, with a strong mechanical aptitude.· Familiarity with hand and power tools used in mechanical assemblies and subassemblies.· Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.· Excellent attention to detail and quality assurance practices.· Strong communication and teamwork skills.EAM-Mosca Corporation is an Equal Opportunity employer.
