UW Whitby is Durham #39;s leading Promotional Advertising and Customer Acquisition company. Our team is committed to developing a unique and innovative approach in creating and executing promotional marketing campaigns for our client, a Canadian leader in the telecommunications industry. Our primary objective is to increase our client’s visibility through brand promotion while simultaneously expanding their customer base. If you #39;re motivated and passionate about technology, we would love to hear from you!As a Customer Sales Assistant at UW Whitby you will learn all of the industry’s latest promotional sales and marketing techniques. You will receive hands-on training from competent managers and staff to show you exactly how to deepen customer connections to our client’s cutting-edge products and services while also providing them with the best-in-class service.Key Accountabilities

  • Become familiar with our clients #39; products and services to ensure you can offer customers the right packages
  • Understand how our clients #39; technology can enhance and simplify customers #39; lives
  • Proactively engage and establish strong relationships with customers, making them feel valued and at ease from the first point of contact
  • Deliver a personalized, client-centric experience, fostering strong and lasting relationships to drive repeat business and enhance brand loyalty.
  • Collect meaningful client information throughout the client journey to understand their preferences and customize the service provided to them.
  • Provide exceptional client experience, focusing on hospitality and elevation through selling skills
  • Use effective selling techniques in a natural, warm, and elevated manner
  • Select the right products matched to client needs and benefits and effectively use upselling techniques.

Key Requirements
  • Minimum of a high school diploma
  • At least one year in Customer Service, Sales, Retail, or Hospitality type roles
  • Proven ability to drive and exceed individual and store results and build lasting relationships with customers and colleagues.
  • High degree of ethics, professionalism, integrity, and ability to inspire trust and collaboration amongst colleagues.
  • Flexibility to work a full-time retail schedule, which will include weekends
  • Excellent commercial awareness and client attitude.
  • High flexibility and ability to adapt to different clients and complex situations.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-moving and dynamic environment
