Our clients include industry-leading organizations who partner with us to be an extension of their HRamp; Recruitment function.Position: Truck Apprentice Mechanic (2nd/3rd year)Location: Kitchener, ONPay Rate: $28 - $32 per hourIndustry: Industrial/ Maintenance/ 310T/ 310SEmployment Term: Full Time / PermanentRolesamp; Responsibilities:

• Assist senior mechanics in performing routine maintenance tasks
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues with trucks under the supervision of experienced technicians
• Assist in the repair and replacement of truck components such as brakes, transmissions, etc.
• Use tools and equipment to identify and resolve mechanical problems efficiently
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair work performed
• Follow safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment
• Assist with other duties as assigned

Qualificationsamp; Experience:

• Post-secondary education or equivalent in a related field
• In the process of completing a technical training program to attain Class A (310S and/or 310T)
• Strong mechanical aptitude with knowledge of the automotive industry
• Ability to follow instructions and work collaboratively as part of a team
• Basic knowledge of hand and power tools
• Good communication skills – written and verbal
