Job Description

BIOVECTRA Inc. is a leading bio-science business in Prince Edward Island and Nova Scotia, focused on contract manufacturing and product development of active pharmaceutical ingredients, pharmaceutical intermediates, and bioreagents.BIOVECTRA has an opening for an Inventory Administrator. This is a permanent, full-time position located in Windsor, NS.The candidate will be responsible for:

  • Processing SCM activities including: inventory and WIP postings, inventory control, and cycle count control and maintenance.
  • Processing batch production records, assembling and administering BPR flow including: QC Reports, deviations and nonconforming product reports.
  • Entering manufacturing cost data (job issues/receipts, labor posting, etc.) in ERP system.
  • Administering the inventory master file system and coordinating change control activities.
  • Managing scheduled inventory counts.
  • Providing production planning support.
  • Supporting SCM projects, and custom/manufacturing projects assigned to the department.
  • Maintaining electronic barcoding database for Batch Production Records.
  • Completing materials assessment for lab requirements including new materials sourcing and setup, stock level determination, expiry, and creation and maintenance of project lab material BOMs (bill of materials).
  • Assessing Lab material requisitions against order levels and schedule requirements.
  • Completing Inventory receipts, labeling, and routine counts.
The successful candidate for this position should have:
  • Post-secondary diploma/certificate
  • University Degree an asset.
  • Two years of experience in supply chain or production planning.
  • Experience generating reports, entering data, using spread sheets, and using ERP software.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite.
  • Ability to organize and work independently in a team setting.
  • Ability to succeed in a dynamic, deadline driven, fast-paced environment.
