Our client has engaged us to assist them in hiring a contract Project Delegate Support. If you are interested in an opportunity to get your foot in the door with leading company, we want to talk with you!Hourly pay range $ 40.00 - $42.00Job Responsibilities Your specific duties as a Project Delegate Support, Windsor, Ontario (Hybrid) will include: Travel- Some travel U S for meetings RESPONSIBILITIES Responsible for supporting the lead design/engineering system integration activities (packaging) tied to establishing new D, E, F sized vehicles and pick-ups to ensure technical feasibility for all related projects through Intention Milestone and up to Pre-contract Approval.Leverage Brand, Design, Planning, Manufacturing, Engineering and other inputs to establish vehicle and occupant package (VOP) - the framework for further packaging activitiesEnsure strategic technical requirements can be achieved with support of PFDI (Vehicle Integration team)Capture part/system sharing opportunities (VisBom) and complexity reduction opportunitiesLeverage internal and external resources (BCI, propulsion, EE, Mfg.amp; PFDI) to ensure feasibility and that the technology road map is accounted for and opportunities are understood/dimensionedIdentify critical engineering constraints and develop/define alternatives which will meet objectivesDevelop inputs and coordinate early buck/property builds for leadership evaluationDefine and coordinate early simulation activities for directional guidanceSupport (self-contained within small, quick loop team)#39;what if #39; study requests from the Sr. LeadershipLead development of presentation for communication of work output and guidance to the leadership teamBASIC QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor #39;s of Science in Mechanical Engineering or related Engineering Degree from an ABET accredited university.Minimum of 3-5 years of automotive development experienceAbility to use CAD software for quick studies (preferably Teamcenter/NX)Excellent communication and program management skillsAbility to simplify complex engineering topics, develop and deliver a presentation in a clear and concise wayAbility to make quick decisions using sound engineering logicWell-developed problem-solving skills.Ability to define the engineering logic behind system packaging layout solutions in the context of the vehicle/platformWork effectively across multiple unique disciplinesPREFERRED REQUIREMENTS Master of Science/physics background with fundamental knowledge of vehicle system interaction / integration (redundant to some of the Basic Qualifications)Demonstrated working knowledge of chassis/suspension, propulsion/engine systems, body structure, etc...Understanding for propulsion systems requirements with regard to emissions, electrification, the balance of power/torque needs on vehicle performanceamp; efficiency, etc Working knowledge of DFSSBenefits As a Project Delegate Support with Bartech Staffing, you will be working through an established and respected staffing organization with over 40 years of serving as a trusted partner to our client companies.
