You must be present in Ontario to apply for this poistionThis position is for Windsor locationPay rate will be $19 / hourAutomobile industry, our client is one of supplier of GMamp; FordThe Shift Supervisor is an integral part of compan’s success. This role is responsible for ensuring perfect defect detection through robust training. The Shift Supervisor ensures that inspection operations are successful through diligence and vigilance, with a heavy focus on validation excellence. The Shift Supervisor is embedded with their inspection team to lead and work, exemplifying the skills and traits expected of company Incorporation. Shift Supervisor embody and uphold the company’s strong sense of ethics and standards. Actively champion communication with Customers in the absence of the Project Leader. Develop strong relationships with key host support staff (material handlers, line operators, material services) to effect success with the inspection.Requirements•Train and validate inspectors to ensure perfect defect detection. •Inspect parts and role model inspector performance standards. •Positively motivate inspectors.•Train Inspectors on administrative job duties to build self-sufficiency. •Foster strong professional relationships with inspectors, fellow Shift supervisors, and host support staff •Foster a safe and inclusive work environment•Actively and willingly aid inspectors, Shift Leaders and Project Leaders•Seek feedback from inspectors on inspection methods.•Provide site orientation to inspectors (PPE, safety, evacuations, etc.)•Maintain composure under pressure and always remain professional.•Be a positive example for Inspectors and fellow Shift supervisors.•Support additional tasks as requested by the Customer or Project Leader•Identify Inspectors with potential for future growth opportunities.
