About the JobNOW HIRING: - Wingham Location339A Licensed Mobile Crane OperatorSalary:Cranes Operators 60- 100 Tons$49.83 + $3.84 (7.7% vacation) + $4.83 (9% pension) + $1.95 (Medical Package) = $60.45Crane Operators 100 Tons +$54.83 + $4.22 (7.7% vacation) + $5.31 (9% pension) + $1.95 (Medical Package) = $66.31Overtime pay after 10hrs/day, premium pay on Saturday and Sundays. Full Medical with Dental and Pension packages + $500 clothing allowance annually, $500 wellness allowance annually and monthly phone allowance plus paid lunches.Experience required- applicant must hold a 339A (Red Seal) Hoisting Engineer License. We are ONLY hiring Crane Operators that are in good standings with the Ontario College of Trades (OTC)Responsibilities:

  • Safe operation of companies mobile cranes
  • Safely driving equipment to/from job sites
  • Responsible for keeping records, log books, daily trip logs, preventative maintenance, annual certifications, creating lift plans, participating in site safety meetings etc.
  • Daily inspection of equipment including; crane, slings, shackles, lifting chains, etc. Disposal and replacement of defective equipment as required.
  • Participate in company and customer safety meetings and contribute to the development of the daily maintenance plan.
  • Employees must keep work areas and equipment clean and free of safety hazards on a continual basis.
  • Any other assigned duties.
Conditions of Employment:
  • Must hold a valid DZ or AZ Driver’s License and a clean driver’s abstract for the past 3 years.
  • Must hold a valid 339A Hoisting Engineer License and be in good standings with the Ontario College of Trades.
  • Demonstrated good communication skills, both oral and written.
  • Must have previous experience in operating mobile cranes.
  • Responsible for wearing all appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
  • Must attend, and partake in all pre-job, post-job and monthly safety meetings.
  • Must pass all safety training administered by Canadian Crane.
  • Must be capable of working and communicating well with others.
  • Capable of working within a fast-paced environment.
  • Have good judgment and the ability to react quickly.
  • Must have basic mechanical skills.
