Print Production AssociateWe are seeking a motivated individual to join our client in the printing industry for an on-site role in a casual work environment. This position operates within regular hours, from 7:00 am to 3:00 pm, with responsibilities including digital print production, quality assurance, and workflow management.What is in it for you:• Hourly salary of $18.• 12-month contract.• Full-time position: 37.50 hours per week.• Weekday schedule from 7:00 am to 3:00 pm.• On-site work in a dynamic environment.• Flexible dress code (jeans are appropriate).• Casual workplace culture.Responsibilities:• Operate digital print and inserter equipment.• Perform quality inspections before, during, and after each production run.• Track and store jobs per customer requirements for future reuse.• Maintain reporting logs for billing purposes.• Wrap, pack, label, and ship finished products.• Maintain inventory levels for supplies.• Troubleshoot and resolve basic production or equipment issues.• Modify document layouts and apply color management, trapping, and image editing techniques.• Demonstrate intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, Adobe, and other relevant software.• Collaborate effectively with team members and mentor co-workers as needed.• Perform physical tasks, including lifting up to 50 pounds and being on your feet for up to 80% of the workday.• Other duties as assigned.What you will need to succeed:• Post-high school technology training or equivalent experience.• 2+ years of experience in a print shop environment.• 6 months to 1 year of customer service experience.• Proficiency in digital print production, PC skills, and workflow tools.• Intermediate use of Microsoft Office, Adobe, and other relevant software.• Advanced computer skills, including troubleshooting and document layout adjustments.• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.• Ability and willingness to learn and develop skills.• Effective communication skills (oral and written).• Ability to collaborate and mentor co-workers.Why Recruit ActionRecruit Action (agency permit: AP-2000003) provides recruitment services through quality support and a personalized approach to job seekers and businesses.
