Job Summary: This Project Manager role will lead large, complex projects focused on improving healthcare delivery through information and communication technology. The successful candidate will have extensive experience in managing technology, business, and process change within the healthcare sector, incorporating organizational change management strategies, and collaborating with diverse stakeholders, including Indigenous/First Nations leadership and multiple government departments. The position requires a proven track record of delivering transformational projects, particularly those involving public health surveillance and monitoring systems at a provincial scale. Location: RemoteResponsibilities: - Lead large, complex projects involving technology, business, and process change in the healthcare sector. - Create and manage project budgets and costs. - Assign resources and manage interdependencies within projects. - Implement organizational change management strategies and plans using a structured methodology (e.g., Prosci). - Plan and implement Public Health Surveillance and Monitoring systems on a provincial scale. - Collaborate effectively with Indigenous/First Nations leadership, multiple government departments, and post-secondary educational facilities. - Report to government leadership. Required Skillsamp; Certifications: - PMP Certification - ProSci (ADKAR) Change Management Certification - 10 years #39; experience as a Project Manager leading large, complex projects in the healthcare sector. - 7 years #39; experience managing projects incorporating organizational change management strategies. - 5 years #39; experience implementing large transformational projects including organizational redesign. - 3 years #39; experience managing a provincial-scale Public Health Surveillance and Monitoring system. - 3 years #39; experience working on projects with Indigenous/First Nations stakeholders. - 1 year of experience as a project manager working on projects requiring collaboration with multiple government departments and reporting to government leadership. - 1 year of experience working on projects with post-secondary educational facilities.
