Job Description

Do you have a driving curiosity about the way business tools function as a whole Can you see the big picture Are you the one who’s always showing your colleagues the special tools they didn’t know existedAs an Application Support Specialist, you offer support to application users of Broadstreet Properties – primarily but not limited to Yardi Property Management ERP.Support is provided in person, over the phone, or online, with initial contact being made through the FreshService ticketing system.As a growing organization Broadstreet is continually looking to improve and expand upon our use of technology.Experience with large scale software implementations and configuring back-end systems is considered an asset.Finally, the Application Support Specialist will be looking for improvements to the business and software process – you’re not just a trouble-shooter, you’re proactive and anticipate issues before they arise. You like making people’s jobs easier by providing them with the tools to succeed.This position will be located in Campbell River - British Columbia or Winnipeg - ManitobaYour contribution to the team includes:

  • Provide prompt and effective support to users on a variety of technical issues.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot software issues reported by users, utilizing your technical skills and problem-solving abilities.
  • Supporting users company wide in ERP and all modules: CRM Flex, Residential, Maintenance IQ, Construction, Finance.
  • Stay up to date with the latest features, updates, and enhancements of our operations software products.
  • Escalate issues as needed to external Account Managers and follow up until resolution.
  • Collaborate with development and product teams to identify and address software bugs, usability improvements, and feature requests based on user feedback.
What you need to be successful:
  • 2+ years of experience in technical support or equivalent skills and knowledge
  • Technical acumen and the ability to learn new applications quickly.
  • Effective communication skills with individuals at all levels of the organization.
  • Familiarity with databases and system configurations is an advantage.
  • Ability to work independently, take initiative, and prioritize tasks.
  • Superior troubleshooting, time management, and multitasking skills
