Job Description

Rafuse and Berwick Home Hardware Building Centres located in the Annapolis Valley, N.S. has an immediate opening for a FULL TIME BOOM TRUCK OPERATOR. In this position you will be a part of an experienced Home Hardware delivery team primarily responsible for delivering building materials to customers and contractors in a timely manner. Candidate will work co-operatively with team members to contribute to the overall success of the business. Ideal candidate will also assist in unloading product from delivery trucks and assist in keeping the lumber yard neat and tidy.SPECIFIC SKILLS

  • Move and or position materials to job sites as well as customer homes.
  • Perform pre-operational inspection of truck and boom.
  • Ability to operate hydraulic or telescoping boom.
  • Must be a team player, with flexibility, accurate, dependability, and excellent oral communication.
  • Have the ability to work under pressure, attention to detail and excellent hand-eye co-ordination.
  • Candidate must be able to provide Drivers Abstract. valid Drivers License for Class 3 or D.
  • Must also be in possession of a Boom Truck Crane Operator Trade Certification.
  • Must be proficient in the English language, spoken and written
