Shift: Afternoon Shift AvailableMonday to Thursday: between 4:00 pm to 2:30 amTraining to be completed on day shift Monday to Friday 7:30am to 4:00pmWhat will you do
  • Verify conformance of machined work to specifications, using measuring tools including micrometers, calipers;
  • Study machining instructions, work orders, and drawings to determine dimensional and finish specifications, sequence of operations, set-ups and tooling requirements;
  • Select cutting tools according to machining instructions;
  • Observe boring operations to detect malfunctions;
  • Lift work pieces onto work tables either manually or with hoists/cranes;
  • Installing tools and spindles;
  • Document work performed/completed in job sheets
  • Daily housekeeping of work area and maintaining equipment

  • A variety of shifts
What do you have
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience operating a CNC Milling machine in a machine shop setting
  • Post Secondary education in General Machining would be an asset;
  • Proven knowledge and experience of CNC Machining language;
  • Knowledge of production processes, quality control and other techniques for maximizing the effective machining of plates and components;
  • Ability to analyze and interpret engineering drawings.
