Job Description

Position: Jr. Production Scheduler Location: Vaughan, ONSalary: $50,000 - $55,000 per yearIndustry: Manufacturing/ production planning/ schedulingEmployment Term: Full Time / Permanent Rolesamp; Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate production schedules to meet customer demands.
  • Monitor inventory levels or raw materials and finished products to ensure adequate supply.
  • Collaborate with production teams, supply chain personnel and other departments.
  • Analyze production data to identify trends, make recommendations for process improvements.
  • Work closely with quality control teams to ensure that production meets quality standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Serve as a central point of contact for production related inquiries and updates.
  • Communicate production schedules, changes, and priorities effectively to all stakeholders.
  • Report any defects or discrepancies to the respective management.
  • Review documents and prepare reports as required.
  • Other tasks as assigned.
Qualificationsamp; Experience:
  • Post Secondary education in Operations Management or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in production planning, scheduling, or supply chain management.
  • Previous experience with engineered to order production highly preferred.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data.
  • Proficiency in using MS applications and other relevant software.
  • Knowledge of continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritise in a dynamic environment.
  • Strong communication skills – both written and verbal.
