Job Description

Position: Maintenance TechnicianLocation: Vaughan, ONPay Rate: $30.00 - $35.00 per hourIndustry: Manufacturing / HVAC / MaintenanceEmployment Term: Full Time / PermanentSchedule: Day shift Responsibilities:

  • Read and interpret blueprints and drawings to determine breakdown issues and/or to order necessary parts.
  • Troubleshoot repairs, and installing parts with a working knowledge of mechanicalamp;electrical for efficient repair.
  • Conduct and perform planned preventiveamp; predictive maintenance and keep maintenance records.
  • Minimize production downtime by responding to production calls promptly.
  • Comply with all regulations relating to equipment for a manufacturing facility.
  • Inspect and examine machinery and equipment to detect, investigate, and malfunctions
  • Record keeping of all maintenance of all activities daily.
  • Perform other duties as assigned
Qualificationsamp; Experience:
  • Post-Secondary Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
  • 4 - 5 years of related maintenance experience in a manufacturing setting
  • Hands-on experience in machine maintenance
  • Experience in a metal manufacturing plant is a definite asset
  • Excellent communication skills - written and verbal
