Position: Production Planner / Scheduler Location: Vaughan, ONSalary: $55,000 per yearIndustry: Manufacturing/ production planning/ schedulingEmployment Term: Full Time / 6-Month contract Rolesamp; Responsibilities:

• Coordinate production schedules to meet customer demands
• Monitor inventory levels of raw materials and finished products to ensure adequate supply
• Collaborate with production teams, supply chain personnel, and other departments
• Analyze production data to identify trends and make recommendations for process improvements
• Work closely with quality control teams to ensure that production meets quality standards and regulatory requirements
• Serve as a central point of contact for production-related inquiries and updates
• Communicate production schedules, changes, and priorities effectively to all stakeholders
• Report any defects or discrepancies to the respective management
• Review documents and prepare reports as required
• Other tasks as assigned

Qualificationsamp; Experience:

• Post-secondary education in Operations Management or a related field
• 3+ years of experience in production planning, scheduling, or supply chain management
• Previous experience with engineered-to-order production is highly preferred
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data
• Proficiency in using MS applications and other relevant software
• Knowledge of continuous improvement methodologies
• Ability to multitask and prioritise in a dynamic environment
• Strong communication skills – both written and verbal
