Department InformationThe Department of Education, Culture and Employment (ECE) provides the residents of the Northwest Territories with access to quality programs, services and support to assist them in making informed and productive choices for themselves and their families with regard to education, training, careers, employment and labour, child development, languages, culture and heritage.Job InformationAs the Certification Administrator, Apprenticeship, Trade and Occupation Certification (ATOC), you will support the assessment, registration, technical training and certification of ATOC program candidates in the Northwest Territories. You will also provide administrative support to the Apprenticeship, Trade & Occupation Certification unit.As the Certification Administrator, you will maintain and manage approximately 1,000 record files pertaining to apprenticeship, trade qualifications, journeypersons, and employers, transferring journeypersons, occupations certification candidates and exam information. You will work with Education, Culture and Employment (ECE) staff, community governments and other third-party agencies to ensure effective and efficient program delivery.
