Job Description

We are looking for a skilled maintenance worker to join our team and help us maintain our facilities in a safe, hygienic and organized manner and ensure that all equipment can be used properly.You will be responsible for applying basic fixes to equipment and building systems and ensure facilities are tidy and functional, upkeep tasks such as repairs and preventive maintenance. Being reliable with a keen eye for detail is the first step to getting this job.Responsibilities

  • Perform minor fixes such as repairing broken locks, filling gaps on walls etc.
  • Check control panels and electrical wiring to identify issues
  • Produce accurate logs, charts, and preventative maintenance forms
  • General repairs experience with drywall, carpet, and tile helpful
  • Install appliances and equipment
  • Conduct maintenance tasks such as replacing light bulbs
  • Inspect and troubleshoot equipment and systems (e.g., ventilation)
  • Report to a maintenance manager for issues
  • Perform annual preventative maintenance in rooms
  • Assist with special projects as needed
  • Perform grounds maintenance, snow removal.
Skills
  • Basic knowledge of HVAC, plumbing and electrical systems
  • Experience using hand and electrical tools
  • Ability to read technical manuals and drawings
  • Very good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to perform Preventive Maintenance Tasks
  • Analytical approach to problem-solving
  • Ability to work, communicate and maintain positive guest and colleague relations
  • Strong attention to detail
