Welcome to the NWT Brewing Company - Nestled between the wonder of the aurora borealis and the rugged nature of the northern frontier, our little brewing outpost is one of a kind. As the Marketing & Sales Coordinator at the NWT Brewing Company, you will be responsible for developing, implementing and executing all marketing plans for our company in order to attract new customers and retain existing ones. You will work closely and coordinate with the General Manager who is responsible for the day-to-day operations of The Woodyard Brewhouse & Eatery as well as the brewery team. You are expected to take initiative, be a self-starter and maintain a strong attention to detail with respect to all work being performed. The ideal candidate will be reliable, trustworthy, hardworking and have a great attitude.We offer a casual work environment, flexible work hours, vacation, health benefits (coming 2022), company discounts on merchandise, NWT Brewing beer and food, as well as team building, social events, and an entrepreneurial and growing environment.WHAT YOU’LL DO:Live and learn the culture, history, policies, and vision of NWTBC!As NWT Brewing Company’s Marketing & Sales Manager you will:Develop and implement events at The Woodyard and outside the organization from time to timeParticipate in promotions, beer dinners, and special eventsOversee our online presence including social media, website content, and online store platformsDevelop strategies and marketing campaigns to get the word out about our company and our beer and to drive online and in person traffic.Gain and/or maintain licensee accounts as well as network with various restaurants/venues to collaborate on events throughout the yearEnhance current customer relationshipsDevelop creative briefs and guide creative direction to meet objectives for all advertising and public-facing communications including print, digital and video.Identify and develop in depth timelines for beer launches and all marketing strategies and strictly adhere to all company deadlinesCreate and maintain sell sheets for all new and existing beersParticipate in overall sales strategy and goal planning for the sale of NWT Brewing beer and other associated products.Prepare and monitor the marketing budget on a quarterly and annual basis and allocate fundsOversee and approve all marketing materialsMeasure and report on the performance of marketing campaignsAnalyze consumer behaviour and adjust campaigns accordinglyRun company social media advertising campaigns by creating high-quality original content that is well written and includes thoughtful visual contentMaintain a solid online presence and oversee customer service provided via social mediaMonitor the company’s brand on social mediaManage our online communities to ensure respectful and appropriate engagementRespond to comments/questions on each of our accountsImplement a monthly email newsletter with customer sign-up available through our websiteOther related duties that may be assignedKNOWLEDGE & QUALIFICATIONSMinimum 3 year experienceTrack record of successful performanceTechnical computer skills and website content creationFluent in Facebook, Instagram and other social media platformsAbility to think strategicallyStrong communication skillsStrong attention to detail and highly organizedAbility to work independently and complete assigned tasks within identified time framesAbility to manage competing prioritiesDedication to continued improvement, growth, and skill development is extremely importantYou value quality above all and are willing to devote the appropriate care and attention to every step of the processA sense of aesthetics, good grammar, and a knack for effective, kind communication.COMPENSATIONThis is an hourly paid role between $25 - $30/hour based on experience.Monthly food and beverage budgetPaid vacationCasual work environment,Flexible work hoursHealth benefits (coming 2022)Company discounts on merchandise, NWT Brewing beer and foodTeam building and social eventsQuick Apply
